VDIS10023 From Design Brief to Design

Credit Points 20
The three most basic tasks that any designer must be able to complete are to extract a design brief from the client, negotiate and refine its contents so that they are meaningful, and finally to originate design solutions that respond to the brief and to the broader community needs, standards and ethics. This subject encourages students to develop their research, negotiation and writing skills leading them to respond to the design brief they themselves have helped to develop.
